Opening to My Purpose

Guided Meditation in the Divine Feminine

divine feminine, sacred feminine
Find a quiet moment. Turn off the phone, the TV, the stereo, and commit to not answering the door. This is your time. Your sacred time. Tell the children, your spouse, or your room-mate to leave you undisturbed for a while. You have sacred work to do. You might want to light a candle or place a bowl of water near you, but most of all, what you need most is your solitude.

Allow your heart to open by breathing gently, accepting the nourishment of the air, the day, spirit, whatever fills you with peace.  Focus on your womb. Allow all your attention to connect to the physical or energetic womb within you. Feel/know/sense/see/hear its darkness, its vastness, its sacred nature, and its ability to hold all of you in love and compassion.

Allow yourself to grow steadily still inside. Give the mind time to quiet down holding each thought and feeling that arises within your compassion. As you enter the sacred stillness ask about your sacred purpose. It is important that your purpose arise from the stillness rather than your busy mind, so give this plenty of time.

Allow the truth of what you came here to do to emerge in the light of your essence—the expression of your Divine nature in service.

When you feel full, breathe deeply, exhaling through your mouth, bringing yourself into the awareness of this moment. Wiggle your fingers and toes. Gently open your eyes. Live from your purpose.
